Fuji Xerox Printers Delivers Enterprise Class Technology to SMB Market
Auckland, NEW ZEALAND – 4 July 2011 – Fuji Xerox Printers today launched into the A4 copier based multifunction device (MFD) segment with the new DocuPrint CM505 colour laser multifunction device. The new device brings high-end enterprise level technology, functionality and innovation to the mid-market, small and medium business (SMB) level, for the first time.
With over 30 years of innovation and reputation as one of the market-leaders in delivering quality printer and copier solutions, Fuji Xerox Printers has applied premium enterprise technology to the mid-sized office market, with an affordable fully-featured multifunction device designed to meet the needs of today’s busy SMB workgroups. The launch of the DocuPrint CM505 brings industry-leading technology and value for money to channel partners in the 45 pages per minute segment – an area which has experienced significant growth of over 43% in the last year.

Engineered with an innovative 8th generation colour touchscreen interface for user friendly operation, the DocuPrint CM505 integrates printing, copying, scanning as standard features, with optional fax available. It operates at high speeds to enhance user productivity, producing the fastest continuous print speed in its class of up to 45 pages per minute in colour and monochrome. It also offers the fastest A4 scanner in a MFD device on the market in its class, scanning colour and monochrome documents of up to 45 pages per minute. The large paper capacity of 700 sheets comes as standard and this is expandable to up to 2,350 sheets with additional paper trays.
The DocuPrint CM505 features customer replaceable consumables and parts to enhance user friendliness and maximise uptime for customers. As a customer replaceable unit, the minimal maintenance of the DocuPrint CM505 ensures low ongoing costs for channel partners selling this model with Fuji Xerox Printers’ managed print services program, PagePack.

EA-Eco Toner reduces power consumption by up to 20 percent and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by up to 35 percent. The DocuPrint CM505 also adheres to stringent Energy Star® requirements for reduced power consumption and energy usage.
The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM505 is available through authorised channel partners and resellers at the recommended retail price of $5499 excluding GST.
